Role Overview:

The Systems Support is the first line of contact for company employees to provide technical assistance and guidance to systems. He or she is also responsible in maintaining servers, workstations and network secure, updated and in good working order.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provision of first line support to internal staff either on-site or remotely.

  • Tending to service requests received via the helpdesk system, email and/or telephone.

  • Supporting and troubleshooting a wired and wireless networking environment.

  • Identifying, researching, and resolving technical computer related problems.

  • Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading software, hardware and equipment.

  • Supporting and maintaining the company’s network, desktops, printers, copiers and phones.

  • Monitor, check and report on Server maintenance.

  • Updating and creating relevant IT support documentation.

Job requirements

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Between 1 and 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

  • Achieved an ICT Advanced Diploma.

  • Candidates having Microsoft and/or Cisco Certifications will be given preference.


Skills Requirements

  • General Windows Operating Systems knowledge.

  • Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and DFS knowledge.

  • Azure and Office 365 knowledge.

  • Team Player and holds good communication skills
