The Senior Operations Officer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the company’s day-to-day administrative and operational processes. This position focuses on supporting client account administration and internal operational controls, ensuring activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced financial services environment. Experience within a regulated institution (banking, payments, or investment services) is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute the daily administrative functions of the Operations Department, including account maintenance, client data updates, and internal reporting.

  • Ensure adherence to internal governance, compliance, and approval frameworks, maintaining proper segregation of duties for sensitive processes (e.g. Permissions, internal transfers, account closures).

  • Prepare, analyze, and submit regular reports to internal and external stakeholders, including CBAR and other regulatory submissions.

  • Support ongoing client account administration processes and ensure operational efficiency across key workflows.

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of operational policies and procedures.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, accuracy, and risk control.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operations or administrative role within financial services (banking, payments, investment services, or similar).

  • Proven experience in preparing operational or regulatory reports.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Solid understanding of operational risk, compliance, and governance principles.

  • Awareness of data protection and confidentiality requirements when handling client information.
