Role Overview:

The Scrum Master at Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase plc is a key facilitator and coach within our agile delivery teams, driving the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile and Scrum practices in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role is responsible for enabling teams to deliver high-quality products and services efficiently, while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and innovation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist product managers in organizing and making the utmost from scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).

  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices.

  • Design and implement Jira automation rules to reduce manual tasks and improve process efficiency.

  • Build and maintain Jira dashboards for capacity planning, team velocity tracking, and release management.

  • Develop custom Jira workflows to support product delivery and compliance needs.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to plan and prioritise sprints.

  • Coordinate release schedules across multiple teams and ensure timely delivery.

  • Monitor dependencies and risks, escalating issues proactively.

  • Create customized Jira dashboards to track roadmap items delivery which are presented to product sponsors to track teams performance and roadmap delivery progress.

  • Generate and analyse reports on team performance, velocity, and capacity.

  • Provide actionable insights to improve predictability and delivery timelines.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions.

  • Drive adoption of best practices in Agile and DevOps across teams.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a fintech or technology-driven environment.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Jira, including automation, advanced workflows, and dashboard creation.

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SAFe principles.

  • Experience in release management and coordinating multiple teams.

  • Ability to build tools and scripts for Jira-based automation (e.g., using Jira Automation, APIs, or scripting).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Jira Administrator certification or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Experience in financial services or fintech domain.
