Product Owner - Moneybase Business

Moneybase Business is the Group’s business banking product, built to give SMEs, scaleups, and corporates a single platform for multi-currency accounts, SEPA and SWIFT payments, cards, approval flows, and treasury management. We compete head to head with other pan European challengers, with the local strength and regulatory standing of a 53+ year old financial services group behind us.

We are looking for an experienced and certified Product Owner to take end to end ownership of Moneybase Business. You will set the product direction, sharpen the proposition against the competitive set, and ship features that move the numbers that matter: activation, transacting customers, revenue per account, and retention.

You will work hand in glove with engineering, design, and commercial teams to deliver a roadmap that is ambitious, scalable, and compliant. You will partner closely with the Chief Product Officer and report directly to them.

Key responsibilities

Product strategy and roadmap

•      Own the product vision and roadmap for Moneybase Business across accounts, payments, cards, FX, expense management, and treasury

•      Make clear prioritisation calls between feature delivery, platform investment, and technical debt

•      Translate group strategy into a quarterly plan that engineering and design can execute against

•      Maintain product principles that keep the Business proposition coherent as we grow into new markets

Customer discovery and competitive intelligence

•      Run discovery through customer interviews, sales call shadowing, win and loss analysis, and live usage data

•      Maintain a working view of competitors, and feed insights into roadmap and pricing discussions

Delivery and ways of working

•      Run the Business squad day to day, working alongside engineering managers, designers, and analysts

•      Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and groom the backlog with engineering and design

•      Drive predictable delivery against agreed timelines, with the discipline to flag risks and re-cut scope when needed

•      Champion strong product practices, including discovery, prototyping, experimentation, and post launch reviews

Fraud, risk, and operational partnership

•      Partner with fraud, and operations from the start of every initiative, not at the end

•      Own onboarding and KYB flows for the Business product, balancing conversion against control

•      Work with customer support and operations to design product changes that reduce ticket volume and operational load

Commercial outcomes and stakeholder management

•      Define and report on Business product KPIs across activation

•      Partner with marketing, sales, and growth on go to market plans for new features and new markets

•      Help shape pricing tiers and fee structures against the competitive set, and run pricing experiments where appropriate

•      Brief the CEO and the wider group on the Business product roadmap and performance

Experience and qualifications

We are looking for a senior product person with the depth to set direction and the practicality to ship. You will bring strong product fundamentals, hands on experience in a regulated fintech, and the commercial instinct to compete with the best business neobanks in Europe.

•      6 plus years in product, with at least 3 plus years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on a payments, banking, or fintech product

•      Demonstrated experience taking a B2B fintech or business banking product from one stage of maturity to the next

•      Working knowledge of SEPA/SWIFT, card issuing or acquiring, FX, KYB onboarding, and multi currency accounts

•      Hands on familiarity with Revolut Business, Wise Business or comparable competitors

•      Track record working inside an EMI, payment institution, or credit institution

•      Strong delivery record in agile environments, with predictable outcomes and clear ownership of metrics

Skills and competencies

You combine commercial sharpness with customer obsession, and you know how to create clarity, momentum, and accountability without heavy process. You are comfortable working alongside senior engineers, designers, and commercial leaders to ship outcomes the business can feel.

•      Able to write a clear PRD, manage engineers and jira roadmaps.

•      Systems thinker who connects product, marketing and commercial teams.

•      Customer obsessed, with a habit of spending time in the product, in support tickets, and on calls with real users

•      Strong stakeholder management, with the credibility to push back on senior stakeholders when the data calls for it
