Job Overview:
We are looking for a Product Manager to own the product vision and roadmap for our Investments portfolio. Working in a fast-moving and cross-functional environment, we are looking for solid experience in owning and guiding the design and delivery of products and services as well as team leadership background. This position forms part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise-grade software systems. The Product Manager will serve as a subject matter expert, acting as a central point of reference for both the team and other stakeholders within the organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for the Investments proposition aligned to company KPIs and customer needs.
Define, prioritise, and ship features that improve activation, funding rates, order conversion, engagement, and assets under management (AUM).
Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure products meet investment services regulation (e.g. MiFID II, suitability and appropriateness rules, best execution) from design through to launch.
Work with brokers, custodians, market data providers, and execution venues to optimise trade execution quality, pricing, and settlement reliability.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to translate customer problems from first-time investors to more sophisticated traders into shipped, measurable product improvements.
Define success metrics and instrumentation for every feature.
Own the customer experience for investment features across all investment products offered, in collaboration with the UX/UI design team.
Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership, including regular reporting on product, engagement, and product KPIs.
Stay close to the competitive landscape challenger investment platforms, neobrokers, and traditional wealth managers globally to keep the proposition sharp, transparent, and differentiated.
Accountable for the on-time and quality delivery of assigned projects.
Conduct team appraisals, identifying training needs, motivating and performance managing the team in collaboration with the Team Lead
Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all delivery activities within the team Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized product backlog for the team
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as a point of reference for queries related to the product
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
5+ years of product management experience, ideally within a digital investment platform, neobroker, wealth-tech, or asset management business.
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus, not a requirement
Formal certification in product management (e.g. CSPO) is beneficial but not essential
Investment-related professional qualifications (e.g. CFA) are beneficial but not essential.
Direct experience owning an investing or trading product end-to-end, including working with brokers, custodians, or execution venues.
Track record of shipping customer-facing features in a fast-paced, agile environment, with clear evidence of measurable impact (activation, AUM, conversion, engagement).
Experience operating within a regulated investment services environment, working alongside Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams on product decisions (e.g. suitability, appropriateness, best execution).
Experience with portfolio management, trading, or wealth management products is highly valued.
Experience working in a scale-up or high-growth fintech environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
Strong product sense: ability to translate customer pain points and business goals into a clear, prioritised roadmap.
Analytical and metrics-driven: comfortable interpreting data, and using it to make and defend product decisions.
Solid understanding of capital markets, trading mechanics, and order lifecycle (market/limit orders, execution, settlement, corporate actions).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence engineering, design, risk, and leadership alike.
Strong commercial acumen understanding of investment product economics (spreads, commissions, interest income, subscription models).
User-centred mindset, with experience running user research, usability testing, or working closely with design teams to make investing accessible to non-experts.
Comfortable operating autonomously, owning outcomes rather than outputs, in a culture that values speed and iteration over process.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts simply and transparently, reflecting a strong sense of customer trust and responsibility.
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar.
