Role Overview:

The Finance Regulatory Reporting Officer will act as a key member of the finance function, taking ownership of regulatory reporting while contributing to the broader financial control environment.

This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical accounting and financial control experience, combined with proven ownership of regulatory reporting obligations within a financial institution. The individual will ensure the integrity of financial data, oversee regulatory submissions end-to-end, and act as a key point of contact with regulators and auditors.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Own the preparation, review, and submission of all regulatory financial reports to relevant authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Keep up to date with changes in regulations and assess how they affect reporting duties.

· Create and maintain clear procedures to ensure financial reports are accurate and compliant.

· Work closely with other teams to gather, check, and match financial data for reporting.

· Offer clear advice and explanations on reporting rules to team members and other departments.

· Act as the primary point of contact for regulators and external auditors on all regulatory reporting matters.

· Support daily finance operations and help with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

· Proven experience owning end-to-end regulatory reporting within a financial institution, investment firm, or bank is required.

· Demonstrated experience preparing, reviewing, and submitting regulatory reports directly to regulators.

· Strong understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks and obligations relevant to financial institutions.

· Be in possession of a tertiary level educational qualification within accounting/finance or related subjects

· Experience in financial reporting or a similar role would be preferred.

· Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Demonstrate excellent project management skills
