Job description
Calamatta Cuschieri and Moneybase are at a pivotal moment. We’re unifying two strong legacy brands into a united identity, expanding our product suite across payments, global investing, wealth management, and business banking, and repositioning ourselves against both traditional Maltese banks and international fintechs.
We are looking for an experienced, self-driven Brand Manager to own the marketing of our investment vertical, covering our CCFunds, investment advisory, wealth management, and the retail investing within the Moneybase app. This person understands regulated financial services marketing from the inside, can lead the quality and consistency of investment-related output across all channels, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to make sure things get done right.
This role combines strategic ownership of the investment brand with hands-on campaign delivery. You’ll be the guardian of how our investment products show up in market, from retail investing in the app to wealth management and advisory. This means reviewing assets, coordinating campaigns, and ensuring every piece of investment-related communication is on-brief, on-brand, and compliant before it reaches our customers. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work alongside senior investment team, content strategist, graphic designer, UI/UX designer, social media strategist and other in-house cross-functional team members and third-party web developers and marketing agencies.
What You’ll Own
Brand Guardianship & Quality Assurance
Own the consistency and quality of all investment-related marketing output, including campaigns for retail investing, wealth management, advisory, bond issues, owned funds, and pensions. Ensuring every email, social post, landing page, and investor communication aligns with brand guidelines, campaign briefs, and compliance requirements.
Review and approve all content produced by the content writer, designer, and external agencies before it enters the compliance approval workflow. You are the last marketing checkpoint before compliance for investment related communications.
Support the brand unification process for the investment vertical, ensuring a cohesive narrative and visual identity across Calamatta Cuschieri’s traditional wealth and advisory services and Moneybase’s retail investing experience.
Campaign Coordination & Delivery
Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of investment-focused multi-channel campaigns, from brief through to execution across email, social media, push notifications, in-app stories, website, and blog. To ensuring every element is delivered on time, on budget, and to standard.
Plan and coordinate the investment content calendar across all channels, including bond issues, MGS issues, IPOs, investor newsletters, market updates, equity research distribution, investment blogs, educational content and campaign communications, working directly with the content strategist, graphic designer and senior investment team to ensure timely delivery and strategic alignment.
Coordinate investment product and feature launches end-to-end, including upcoming initiatives. Ensuring all marketing deliverables are produced, reviewed, approved, and live on schedule.
Use Jira to track all active projects, manage dependencies, and maintain full visibility of the department’s delivery pipeline the investment vertical.
Compliance & Regulatory Alignment
Ensure all departmental output adheres to regulatory standards and follow the internal compliance approval processes.
Serve as the marketing department’s primary liaison with investment compliance officers, ensuring edits are implemented accurately and records are maintained.
Digital Presence & Execution
Oversee the maintenance of our web properties in WordPress, ensuring content is published accurately, pages are updated on schedule.
Coordinate the execution of investment-related email campaigns and investor communications including weekly investment newsletters, market commentary, fund updates, advisory communications and more. All through our email platform, including audience selection, quality assurance, scheduling, and performance review.
Coordinate social media publishing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring posts are scheduled, reviewed, and aligned with the content calendar.
Stakeholder Management & Communications
Support the external communication strategy by coordinating media outreach, managing PR timelines, and ensuring all external communications reflect the brand’s positioning and regulatory obligations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders across the investment desk, fund management, advisory team, compliance, product, and senior leadership to ensure investment marketing activity is accurate, timely, and aligned with business priorities.
Events & Community
Lead the end-to-end logistics for investment-related events, including monthly investor community evenings, wealth management seminars, product launch events for new investment features, and industry conferences. From planning and invitations through to on-the-day coordination and post-event reporting.
What You’ll Work On Immediately
This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your first three months observing. You’ll be embedded in live projects from week one, including:
The unification of the Calamatta Cuschieri and Moneybase brand identity across all digital and physical touchpoints
The investment sections of a full website redesign and migration for both brands, built on WordPress
Product launches for projects we will disclose post contract
Customer journey mapping across the investment product suite, from a first-time retail investor to a high-net-worth client engaging with wealth management and advisory
Refining the investment content programme for daily market updates, weekly investor newsletters, equity research distribution, investment blogs, podcasts and earnings season communications
Community events
The Product Suite You’ll Be Marketing
While our full product suite spans everyday banking, payments, business accounts, and more, your focus will be on the investment vertical: global investing (20,000+ instruments including equities, ETFs, bonds, and fractional shares across 40+ global exchanges), wealth management, financial advisory, pensions, and CCFunds. Everything is regulated by the MFSA. You’ll be expected to develop deep product knowledge across the investment suite quickly and ensure every piece of marketing accurately represents our offering and its regulatory context.
Job requirements
Who You Are
5+ years’ experience in a marketing role within financial services, banking, or a regulated professional services environment
Proven experience managing brand consistency and quality assurance across multi-channel marketing output
Direct experience with compliance approval workflows in a regulated environment, you understand why they exist and how to work within them effectively
Comfortable operating at both a strategic and an execution level, you can think about brand positioning in the morning and publish a WordPress page in the afternoon
Proficient with key marketing tools including WordPress, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, analytics tools (Google Analytics), and project management software (Jira or similar)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and proof content produced by others, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with campaign briefs and brand guidelines
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

You’ll own the investment vertical end-to-end, giving you clear ownership of how we communicate one of the most complex and high-value parts of our business. Right now, the marketing department is lean and growing. In this first phase, the role requires someone willing to combine planning and coordination with hands-on campaign delivery, someone who can set the standard for how we work while also doing the work. As the department matures and structures are established, the plan is to bring in a dedicated Marketing Executive to take on the day-to-day execution, allowing you to shift your focus fully toward investment brand strategy, campaign planning, and marketing leadership.
Your early contribution in the processes will shape how the team operates. This is a role that will grow in the upcoming months.
