BI Analyst (Insight & Reporting)

Role Overview:

The BI Analyst will translate business questions into actionable insights by leveraging structured data, delivering meaningful analysis, dashboards, and performance reporting. 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business teams to define KPIs and analytics needs 

• Build dashboards and performance reporting frameworks 

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities 

• Translate business questions into analytical approaches 

• Maintain consistent metric definitions 

• Support decision-making through insights and storytelling 

• Collaborate with the data engineer to shape analytics data models 

• Educate stakeholders on data interpretation and usage 

• Advanced SQL or strong data querying capability 

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) 

• Analytical thinking and business acumen 

• Strong communication skills 

• KPI framework design 

• Data visualization best practices 

Nice to have 

• Basic scripting knowledge 

• Financial or operational analytics exposure 

• Statistical reasoning
