The Accountant will be responsible for handling the day to day accounting and bookkeeping as well as handling Vat and Tax reporting and preparation of monthly management accounts. The accountant will also be required to assist in documenting and updating internal process and procedures as well as liaise with Auditors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks and bookkeeping entries

• Process and record revenue transactions

• Process supplier invoices and intra-group charges

• Handle month-end postings such as prepayments, accruals and depreciation

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Assisting the Manager with liaising with internal and external auditors

• Assisting in the preparation of Vat Returns

• Assisting in documenting and updating internal process and procedures

• Prepare and review annual, semi-annual financial statements in preparation for Annual and half yearly financial statements

• Assisting in any other ad-hoc reporting as it may be required

Experience & Education Requirements

• Hold an accounting qualification or be in the final stages of ACCA certification

• 2+ Years of experience in Finance

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong expertise in Excel

• Previous work experience within a similar role or industry will be considered an asset

• Strong analytical and accounting skills

• Be highly organized, proactive, and able to work on own initiative

• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic environment

• Be able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines

• Present a friendly, outgoing and positive attitude
